TROPICAL SURF HOUSE - FRANCESCO AND YUMI INVITE YOU TO DISCOVER OKINAWAN NATURE AND OUR BEAUTIFULL OCEAN.

A relaxing and well-located guest house, just a 5 minute walk from the white sands and blue water and close to one of Okinawa's most famous surf breaks; Miyuki Beach, in the middle of Kibogaoka.(please contact us for larger group bookings). With our convenient and safe location, we are also perfect for families with children who are looking to escape the crowds in search of peaceful beaches and a hassle-free holiday.

Our large multi-storey wooden guest house has a spacious and comfortable communal area, shared kitchen (with guest fridge), your own room downstairs with a separate entrance, and a shared bathroom. Outside, there is a lush green garden, BBQ area, large balcony and gazebo, and free car parking. The house is set up for surfers, swimmers and paddlers, with an outdoor shower for you to wash off following a session in the water.

Interaction with Guests.

Italian and Japanese married couple; we live up on-site and are always available to assist and answer any questions you may have.

Francesco runs a surfing and stand-up paddling school and guiding service. Price for any water sport is 8000 yen for 2-3 hours, surfing stand up paddle and snorkling tour we can cater for any level from beginners to experienced we fully equipment soyou can rent equipment or bring your own.

Francesco is also a trained chef and loves to share his passion for cooking and food. We encourage our guests to dine with us at home as there is so much to choose from: start with a visit to the market, learn about the typical and famous produce, buy fresh ingredients and cook them in the comfort of the house Japanese or Western style.

The Neighborhood

Kibogaoka, near by Afuso village, is a hidden gem, with its golden sands and blue waters protected within the coral reef, which is one of the best surf spots on the West coast of Okinawa. Within a 15km range north and south of our house there is a variety of bays and beaches surrounded by high sandstone cliffs with near-endless activities both on and off the water. Yumi is also a professional masseuse and can offer one-hour massage for 4000 yen

Getting Around

The local bus service runs along the coastline, stopping at most major towns 
Many of our guests will also take long walks around the surrounding area and parks 
We offer a drop-off and collection service for our guests and or you can arrange a car rental

House Rules

You welcome to share the house whit yumi and francesco. The role hare sample common sense and respect and guest can have bbq friendly drink and fell happy and relax.
